As Hampton Sun is growing rapidly, we are also expanding internationally! On January 23rd, the president of Hampton Sun, Salvatore Piazzolla, attended a lavish presentation at the Westin Excelsior Hotel in Rome, Italy for a number of Italy’s elite perfumeries.

Last month, Hampton Sun’s Facebook page ran a fabulous promotion to say “Thank you!” to all of our incredible fans and supporters. With over 80 fans enter, this was our biggest – and most successful! – giveaway yet.

The lucky winner of our Holiday Giveaway received a selection of Hampton Sun products perfect for year round skin and suncare. Betty Neale from Georgia was picked at random and a collection of Hampton Sun headed her way! It’s been almost a month since Betty won her prize and she’s integrated the products into her every routine with ease.

The Hampton Sun Super Hydrating Face Cream with SPF15 ($40.00) is a superior product. I find a little blends easily into the skin and has a wonderful silky feel. It is also fragrance-free and hypo-allergenic which is very important to me. I also appreciate the vitamins and botanicals included in the formulation. A great product you won’t be disappointed in.

I find the Hampton Sun Sunless Tanning Gel ($32.00) a wonder among tanning gels. It goes on smoothly without leaving your skin feeling clammy and dried out like many other sunless tanning products tend to do. It dries super fast and gives you a light overall tan. I apply it about every 3 days to renew.

Privet Bloom is a fragrance that speaks to me. It has a light, fresh smell which is most appealing. It comes in a beautiful bottle. I also have the roll on ($22.00) in  my purse for when I am on the go.

Here are some top tips:

• Apply sunscreen liberally and evenly to all exposed skin – most skiers and snowboarders do not use enough sunscreen and therefore do not get the maximum protection.

• Use a more moisturizing sunscreen (Hampton Sun’s Continuous Mist SPF 35 and 55 are infused with aloe vera for this exact reason, protect and pamper your skin). Winter conditions can be particularly harsh on the skin.

• Be sure to cover often-missed spots:  ears, around eyes, neck, underside of chin, scalp and hands (Hampton Sun’s  SPF 15 Super Hydrating Face Cream are perfect for this type of application!)

• Always wear a lip balm with an SPF 15 or higher (like SPF 30 Luxe Sport Lip Balm!) Lips are even more sensitive than most parts of the skin.

• Reapply at least every two hours, and more often after sweating or exposure to wind and snow. Reapply on the chairlift, especially after a long, snow-blown run.
